The 360NM-400NM ultraviolet range is very attractive for mosquitoes and other insects. This mosquitoes killer uses 368NM ultraviolet band, 360 degrees surround ultraviolet light can attract mosquitoes in any direction.
The internal fan stirs the surrounding air at high speed to form a strong vortex flow. When the mosquitoes or other annoying flying insects approach the wind tunnel, they will be sucked into the chassis until they are dehydrated. Once the mosquito is sucked into the catching grid, it’simpossible to escape the strong vortex formed by the fan and be pressed at the bottom by the cyclone until they are dehydrated.
The mosquito storage at the bottom can be easily removed by counterclockwise rotating, which is convenient for disposing of the mosquitoes, and it can be reused after washing and drying. I have no idea how these things work so well but they do. I have many houseplants and these have completely eradicated any and all fruit flies. I also have an expensive UV/fan trap for fruit flies and believe it or not these sticky ones catch more! If you have a very full plant, be careful these don’t stick to the leaves because you’ll probably have to cut it off. I’ve found that leaving one side of the trap covered and facing one sticky side away from the plant solves this problem without compromising the products effectiveness.

I have a few little window plants, and this little bug trapper really works to trap and kill the little fruit flies and gnats that like to hover around the plants year round! I also like that it is sticky on both sides, and the butterfly shape is adorable, I would definitely buy it again.

Within hours of installing just one of these traps the change was noticeable. The tiny little gnats that grow in the dirt of my habanero pepper plant immediately began to get stuck and just the one trap (so far) has changed the nuisance factor to almost none
